Occasionally, when my engine in my IS350 is warm, when I first start the car, the engine iddles very slow (about 400 rpm), and seems to have no power. If I immediately put it in gear, it will bog, and has stalled on a couple of occasions. After about 5 seconds or so, the RPMs pick up and it is better. I have only seen this when warm ( not when started hot, and not when started cold). It has set the check engine a couple of times. The dealer has found a lean code set in the computer, but otherwise he does not seem to have a clue whats going on.
Has anybody else seen this ? What was the root cause ?

I don't mean to scare you, but I would have the dealer check it again before your powertrain warranty expires. How many miles do you have on that IS-350? This is what happened to me:

The dealer still has my car, waiting on parts.

It's quite possible it could be a valve spring issue. Maybe your cylinders aren't getting enough fuel from either clogging or the springs not working properly to give it fuel. I'd definitely have your dealer check it out.
