i bought my car in Illinois which requires a front license plate. now i moved to Indiana i no longer need a front plate. after removing my front plate mount the previous owner had poorly installed it, as a result there are four gross looking holds and scurfed up area in shape of the plate mount.
my questions are: should i replace the whole front bumper? will the ' 09 2010 fit? will the fog lights fit? the grill looks different as well- will the old fit?
should i just get an 06-08 front to make it easier?
are there any other solution? i know i can just have the holds filled and repainted.
the thing is not so much the holes. but the area around where the mount was too tightly screwed in and theres a square shape where the mount was. its deeper than clear cloat.
Do it. A good body shop will make it look factory only thing is. Instead of filling the holes and painting and only paying 5-600 you'll be spedning probably 12-1300 for bumper, labor, paint, and any fitment issues if any.
it will fit, u will need a new grill not sure on fogs. Do it. i like the 09/10 bumper better. sleeler more curvy desighn. or just wait for the '11 body style and do a '11 conversion
