(and yes I know that AWDs are 200 pounds heavier..)
You just explained to yourself why the 6MT is more enjoyable to drive over the AWD!!

To be honest, driving a manual becomes secondary after a while, and for most people, becomes as easy as riding a bike, given they do so casually. Advanced skills require more work, yes, but at the same time, so does piloting any car at 8/10ths of its potential, consistently.

I feel great driving manual, too, but don't feel the emphasis of my driving experience should be placed on operating a clutch. There is just so much more to becoming an actual 'better' or 'skilled' driver, while there are many other aspects of a car to enjoy.

I definatly agree with you there, theres alot more than just a clutch that make driving more enjoyable, for instance theres power, which my is250 lacks haha. But the lexus isx50, to me, is a perfect car and I dont want to switch to infiniti or BMW but it seems I may in the coming years because eventually Im going to want more power in a manual vehicle.

I guarantee if the is350 had 6mt it would sell more than the 6mt is250 because there are those of us who bought the 250 only because it had manual. Also it would attract many is350 drivers who wanted manual but couldnt have it, and it would also attract people from outside of lexus who maybe didnt want the is350 because it did not have manual. When it comes down to it the is250 6mt makes a profit so why wouldnt the is350.
