yes but fixed that with some trimming long ago. Wasn’t bad since offsets are weak on these wheels. Rubbed more after I fixed camber and with new tires til I wear them.
Got stripped chrome lips back from LM Chrome in Anaheim,CA. Was 1/4 cost of any place willing to strip old chrome in central FL. Even with shipping it was a bargain.
Barrels all polished. Front still got some haze and deep scratches that I need to redo. Rears are mirror finish but probably only a 7/10 but good enough since they will oxidize eventually and are hard to keep Mirror due to water puddling in the middle.
Making good progress, should have these finished by weekend.
My rig for polishing, used an old chair swivel and some blocks. Using a Harbor Freight variable speed polisher (3,500 RPM) with Zephyr pads and compound.
Lips sanded from 240, 400, 600, 800, 1000 using a random orbital sander and 5-inch round pads. Probably could have done faster with a 3-inch or 2-inch sander since more of the surface area of sand paper will hit touch. Also, probably could have stopped at 600 and started with cutting compound.
Lips after cutting stage one buff, still need to do the color buff and final finishing buff.
Resanded and buffed the front barrels to get rid of haze and some pitting.
