^ Good to know Javy. I tried Googling this before and it says 4100K, 4300K, and 4800K depending on where you look. Are there different versions of Philips' XenEco bulb that are causing the confusion?

The confusion is coming from aftermarket vendors selling "OEM replacement" HID bulbs. The data sheet I provided is from the bulb that Lexus buys from Philips.

switch the bulbs around. if the same thing happens to the problem side, it's the ballast/connections.

if the problem side has no problems when you switch bulbs, then it's the bulbs.

I’ve been reading on replacement bulb but confused by the color temperature. I see people post the OEM bulb philips d4s with color temperature of 4800K but everywhere I have look I only see color temperature of 4300K.

What’s the true color temperature? Where can I get it?
Color temperature is a characteristic of visible light that has important applications in lighting.. it decideds the illumination and visibility of the HID bulbs....it is calculated by kelvin (K).

the higher the color temperature is , the fewer lumens the bulbs have...

43k HID replacement bulbs are what u need, and get it from

Reply failure? Did you even read the entire thread before posting, or look at the date, or the fact that his bulb appears to NOT be burnt out, and there are other issues?

Default 2013 ES350 HID Color

Hey! New member joining this morning. I have a 2013 ES350 and I have a question about the bulb color. I replaced the ballast on the driver side but not the bulb and it looks a little bluer (if that's a word) that the passenger side. So I replaced the ballast on the passenger side but the color didn't change or match the driver side which is the color I prefer. I was reading through some of the threads and didn't really see anything similar to my issue and was hoping someone can help guide me in the right direction. I also changed the fog lights to LED and I believe they are 6500k. I actually want a bulb that has the color of a newer Lexus or Camry if possible. I appreciate any suggestion in advance.
