Hi fellow members
Although I joined a while ago, I never got to post much of anything.
So I bought my 2006 IS250 AWD 2 years ago. And the warranty is now over, so I can start modding.![Woot](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/woot.gif)
My last car 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T, I ended up spending way too much on mods (10k)
, so I have to watch myself now.
For me, the best mod is wheels, now since I have an AWD my car sits a little higher than rwd.
Also I live in Canada, and I do not want to drop it too much due to our winters.
I was wondering if I should lower my ride a bit or leave it as is, and any ideas on wheels.
I like style and comfort more than handling and speed.
Thanks

Welcome and your better off with coilover on the AWD cause it will give you the best option to raise your ride during the winter and lower it during the summer. Plus with spring your AWD will sit lowwer in the rear due to the C-bracket for the front axles which is why it sits higher than RWD IS. you have two to pick from BCR offer coilover and MEGAN now do too http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MEGAN...item35aad9fa8f

All you need is some coils, a nice set of 18 or 19" wheels, tint, and maybe upgrade your tail lights to ISF or 09/10 style. Then call it a day.that's well under 10k in mods. As long as you make the right choice in wheels your car will looke better then a lot of others on this site.Don't ruin your car by overdoing it

Thanks, I miss her...
But could not afford her anymore with price of gas and the urge to MOD, plus having to have a second car for the winter.
As much as I would love to spend another 10K on mods, it wont be happening any time soon.
One step at a time, which will be wheels, then move on from there.
Thanks for all the warm welcomes
