I just had a really good reaction time with a good take off. The GTR was a couple weeks old, and the owners GF was driving, so she probably didn't push the car anywhere near its limits, where I gave my car 100%.

Haha yeah. I knew I was breakfast when I asked her to race and she said" are you sure?" I LOLed all the way to the start as she took my cars dignity with her

About her being in view soon, it could have been very likely the camera bc it was pointed straight ahead and she was to my left, but I also pushed my car that I have been dragging for a while to 100% where she probably utilized 70% of the GTR.
