IS 250 conversion to IS-F..anyone?

As we all know, it's a matter of personal taste...Maybe this is his version of "unique" as it suites HIS TASTES... If whomever likes the F's body styling & wants it on another IS-model, let them live... I'm very "anti-poser" (in fact I have De-badged my high HP cars, as I prefer subtlety)..but he's not re-badging the car an "F", so imo he's not posing, he just prefers that body styling....

The new 2011 Lexus IS250/350 has the F-sport package that looks more like the Lexus ISF. Why doesn't Lexus IS350 offer the Lexus ISF bumper like how the BMW 3 series has the option of the M3 front bumper. Instead of making a front bumper look more like the Lexus ISF, just get the actual front bumper.
If I want a more aggressive look, keeping OEM style, and without being consider "mod," then I would get the Lexus ISF front/back bumper conversion. I can get the Wald kit, but this will not be OEM and be label as a mod car. With the Lexus ISF front/back bumper, the car looks aggressive and OEM, and not too unique like a Wald kit to label me a ricer mod car. Thus, not everyone wants to be a poser. Personally, I would not do this because the car will depreciate about half its original value in about the next 12 months, so the cost difference between a Lexus IS350 + Lexus ISF conversion and a getting a Lexus ISF will be small.
I was not meant to offend anyone when I stated that the Lexus ISF will depreciate. I only stated that to show when it is a good time to buy for those who want one in the future.

Lots of blood pressure increases in this thread. If the OP wants to do what he wants to do, then fine. We are not living his life for him, nor is he living for us. Maybe he doesn't want to pay the high rates for insurance that the F commands, or maybe he doesn't want his kids to have access to a land rocket. Who knows, and who cares? As for the arguments of "it'll hurt resale value," he's not spending our money.
Much like someone said earlier about us owning our watches only for our enjoyment, that is the reason that I bought my IS350. When I go into the office, my commute is about a 50 mile round trip, so I damn well better enjoy the 1.5 hours (on average) that I spend in the car. I didn't get it for anyone else but me - yes I'm selfish sometimes.
"One man's treasure is another's trash, and vice versa." Only issue would be if some car tries to step up to him, they can brag that they took down an ISF, so please don't race anyone!
Regardless, more power to you, OP. Best of luck in your quest! We must enjoy life - as we see fit. Not as others see fit for us.
