physical age is not a good barometer of responsibility or appreciation of what a person owns.
I know quite a few 35+ year olds who I wouldnt trust with a pet rock.
I'm 26 fwiw.... Its all about a persons work ethic and personal values that matter. Neither of those things can be purchased though.

I'm 33 and work as an engineer in Silicon Valley. I can easily afford 5 of the IS250 a year.
You'll be surprise at what age people can own houses and nice cars here... especially before the dot com bust. I'd seen people in their 20's drive in brand spanking new 911 Porsche Turbo. And NO... their parents are not even paying a dime. The engineer salary here is a few times higher than the national average, so you figure.
If it's a teenager, then I'm more likely to believe that it's sponsored by mom and pop.

Going to coporate meetings in my old Integra was not cutting so this is the reason why I got mine.

I've also already warned the wife that my next lexus will be an LS she says I can get what ever I want but we need to get her the RX that she wants first.

Was looking at the "How old are you?" thread and noticed quite a bit of you are....*ahem* youngin's. A lot of teens, a lot of college age.
Well geeze maneeze!! Who the heck here is over 30?? I'm wondering if I'm just too old to be in this crowd.

Have an IS250AWD and Porsche Boxster
Last summer and thos went out to the 2 day Skip Barber Performance driving schools
Best part of this age group is that I can just about buy what I want. And I love both of these care. This is my 2nd IS.

im in the 40+ age group, this is my first ever 4dr/automatic sedan i've ever bought, everything till now has been 2dr/standard sport coupes (only one was FWD, never again)... so when the young'uns talk about why us older guys drive this, i say:
why aren't the young'uns in 2dr sport coupes???
something is wrong if they're driving 4dr automatic sedans...
