physical age is not a good barometer of responsibility or appreciation of what a person owns.

I know quite a few 35+ year olds who I wouldnt trust with a pet rock.

I'm 26 fwiw.... Its all about a persons work ethic and personal values that matter. Neither of those things can be purchased though.

I'm 33 and work as an engineer in Silicon Valley. I can easily afford 5 of the IS250 a year.

You'll be surprise at what age people can own houses and nice cars here... especially before the dot com bust. I'd seen people in their 20's drive in brand spanking new 911 Porsche Turbo. And NO... their parents are not even paying a dime. The engineer salary here is a few times higher than the national average, so you figure.

If it's a teenager, then I'm more likely to believe that it's sponsored by mom and pop.

no matter what the age, ive noticed a great appreciation for the IS line, whether it's the young and still in school to the more older folks.

I would get the IS-F when I am 40..LOL

I've also already warned the wife that my next lexus will be an LS she says I can get what ever I want but we need to get her the RX that she wants first.

Well geeze maneeze!! Who the heck here is over 30?? I'm wondering if I'm just too old to be in this crowd.

Please don't make me go search all the posts in that thread....
If it makes you feel better, I'm 59.
Have an IS250AWD and Porsche Boxster
Last summer and thos went out to the 2 day Skip Barber Performance driving schools

Best part of this age group is that I can just about buy what I want. And I love both of these care. This is my 2nd IS.

im in the 40+ age group, this is my first ever 4dr/automatic sedan i've ever bought, everything till now has been 2dr/standard sport coupes (only one was FWD, never again)... so when the young'uns talk about why us older guys drive this, i say:

why aren't the young'uns in 2dr sport coupes??? something is wrong if they're driving 4dr automatic sedans...

I'd have to agree, but i have my own simple reasoning behind that one... the 2dr sport coupes I'd want are out of the feasible price range.... and being only 23, insurance is a lot better on a 4dr is250 than a 2dr sports car. Come onnnn 25! Cant wait for that insurance drop!

i'm about to turn 38. Most of the ISx50 drivers in my area are around my age or a bit older and some younger....most of them being women (which the majority drive the IS250's).

um they are. Ever visit the scion TC forum or seen a scion driver? All young'n from 16 to 22.

The people on this forum represent the minority of the people that actually owned and drive IS.

I'm in the same boat. I'm on the last year of the 20s, and then it's on to the 30s
