If it's not condensation, it's not going to disappear with the heat of a hair dryer. It has coated the inside of it, just like I described with the Armour All. It has to be cleaned out. The only other thing I can think of is the harshness of the chemicals while drying has damaged the inner surface of lens.

Look real close. Does it look cloudy or pitted? Use a flashlight. Hold it sideways so that the beam can light it up, not directly down but from a horizontal angle. You can see if it's pitted.

If it's not, then it should be able to come clean.
