Yes, that's exactly my point on why this car makes little sense for most buyers.

Under 500 hp or so AWD is totally useless from a performance perspective, you're simply not traction limited enough to be worth paying the weight and mileage penalty that comes with it.

(and unless you spend most of your time off-roading or driving in bad snow, and I mean most, not a couple months a year like most people, it kinda sucks for "safety" as well given good snow tires on RWD work quite well and you don't take the mileage and performance hit the other 80% of the time you drive it without snow)
