Pic Request: 350z,370Z, G37 on IS350 *UPDATE with PICS*
I think those rims are nice. Just wonder how they look like on the IS?
****NEW UPDATE***Sept 4th 2010
So I found a set of 06 350Z from a local car forum and today I decide to put them on and drive around for couple hours just to kill time. Suprise me, the TPMS on the 350Z work with our IS as well, matter of fact, the "LOW TIRE" light did not come on. The only issue that I have is the front wheels slightly rub with the wheel well.
Spec of the OEM 06 350z: 18x8(offset32) in front 18x9(offset35) rear.
Tires: Front --- 245/40/18 ( I think thats why they rub??? school me ^^)
Rear ----285/35/18
Those are tires come with the rims when I bought them.
Future mod, only If I keep those rims, I plan on using F-sport spring with those rims power coated satin black and paint brake caliper in ORANGE. Opinions are welcome!
IS350 with 350z wheels.
Rear wheels are super flush ^^
Pics of the front wheels
Front wheel rub against wheel well.
Tire size 245/40/18

infiniti wheels (specifically those that are made by rays engineering as oem equipment) are a great cost-effective and functional option for those who don't have the budget for genuine, high-quality aftermarket wheels (not cheap, inferior quality, knock-off wheels).
so is it better to run knock-off, inferior quality wheels? or high quality oem wheels from another manufacturer/model? i think that's a fair question to ask when it comes to debating between the two.
not everyone will agree with ^, and that's fine. however, at the end of the day, i have more money left in my bank account for other priorities, and i don't have to be uber-paranoid about my wheels knowing that they're high quality and can be cost-effectively replaced.

While I'm not personally a fan of putting different OEM wheels on our cars, I've seen the 19" G35 wheels put on our cars, and they do look pretty good.
Search for better pictures, but here's one I could find quickly:

for the most part, i agree with your sentiment. however, there's that little part of me that is nagging to disagree, and here's why.

I would get those for tracking. they're light and forged. made by Ray's and cheap too.

Another 2IS on Z rollers
I would run a set of OEM different manufacturer's wheels before I run a set of knock-off junk aftermarkets.. I had my z wheels powder coated gloss black and had an aluminum center cap cover made with the Lexus emblem and have not had one issue
