Default Front Thermal Camera on NAV screen?

Dont think this is a repost, found an IS-F on eBay that has a front facing thermal camera that displays the video onto the NAV screen. Not sure what use it is good for, but here's the link!

This is so you don't scrape or even crack your bumper over those bumper stopper in parking lot. Very helpful if your car is lower.

I agree and knew a front camera is usefull for that, but this is a thermal camera. Sure it can do the same, but it's showing thermal imaging.

So you don't murder anyone when your rolling around stealth with all your lights off?
Regardless it's awesome and would be sweet to show off to your friends.

I guess it's to detect little kids that are ducking below your front bumper.... or running over a cute squirrel

Now if it was night vision, then you could drive around with lights off and get in an accident, that would be cool.

This reminds me of the new 7 series or S550. they have the front camera to detect pedestrians at night. I'm not sure if they actually use thermal camera but it serve the same purpose. The 7series has kinda like blueish picture, maybe infared wave?
