Hello everyone,
I just purchased a set of 19" wheels for my 2007 awd and I need help choosing the best tires for me?
The car is lowered on Road Magnet springs which drops 2 full inches . If I need to roll the fenders thats fine with me as long as I get a nice looking stance. Also, would it be possible to add spacers to the rear if yes what size? Thanks

*
Wheel Sizes:
2(19X8.5) With 2.0" Step Lip 35MM Offset*
2(19x9.5) With 3.5" Step Lip 40MM Offset*
Bolt Pattern: 5X114.3
Center Bore: 73.1MM

Hello everyone, new here to the Lexus world. Just picked up a 2008 IS250 Awd last monday, June 25th. Traded in my 09 Civic Si sedan. Wanted the awd due to the plan of moving next summer up north. I've done a bunch of reading the last couple days about staggered setups and the limitation that come with it. Heres what I've got on the car right now. Works CR Kai's, 17x9, +38 offset, 235/40/17 all the way around, off the civic.

Just ordered H&R springs for my drop. Was thinking once these tires wear down replacing them with 225/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear. Thing is, everyone is talking about the 3% limitation between tire size but there has been no mention of the differance of wheel weight front to rear. Going from the 26lbs OEM wheel + tires to the 18lbs Works+ tires is nice. The almost 10lbs loss per corner is very noticable. The pickup on the car was huge. What is the ill effect of running heavier tires in the rear???? I know in my case 225 front/255 rear is minimal but some people are running big width changes front to rear. There might be a thread about this but thought I'd ask here. Thanks for any info.

If I don't go with the staggered tires, I'm gonna run 245/40/17 all the way around.

you can definitely put spacers in the back but might require a roll

if your not running a staggered setup there is no point in running staggered tires on those wheels. Go with the 17/45/225 all around not sure if the 245 will fit up front as you might have trouble turning

And what tire spec suggestions? (its an awd) 225/35/19 up front and 265/30/19?
this will work without any fender mods

On Road Magnets 2 full inch drop? Will it rub on the front? I wont mind rolling the rear fenders.

I understand what your saying about staggered setups, they are based off the wheels. The same can also apply to tires.

See if this makes sense. Off 1010tires right now I'm 2.29% smaller than the factory setup but I'm 2.29% on all four corners. Now if I was to replace my rears with 255/40/17 and keep the 235/40/17's on the front, the rears change to 0.24% from the factory setup. Then the front to rear has a differance of 2.05%, 2.29% minus 0.24%. Am I looking at this right???? That's still within the 3% bubble as referanced to on several of the other thread or does this no apply to the awd system?? This is my first awd car and I'm trying to learn all the rights and wrongs, Thanks Again!!!

Im planning to do an 18x9.5 with a 38 offset. Almost positve it will work, especially since i rolling fenders. But then i plan to do IS-F Drop of 1". Hoping that will clean out some fender gapage. If someone knows diff please let me know.

I'm about to place this order tomorrow and I just wanted to make sure everything (specs wise) will be okay without any fender mods. But will be dropped on BC coils. Thanks for all the info.

Would the Avant Garde M310 18x8.5 non-staggered setup with 225/40/18 all around fit with no rub? I'm dropped on F-sport springs.
