there is less stress on the awd system if you don't stagger the wheels. That said, if you want to get the same look (in terms of fitment) from front to rear, you will likely have to run staggered sizes. I believe this is because the rear fender arches are slightly wider than the front fender arches.

you can run staggered. you just have to make sure the tires are turning the same amount of turns in a mile basically. that way it doesnt throw off your AWD and mess it up. I mean think about all the Lambo's that are AWD and they run staggered.

Otherwise, yes you can run staggered wheels, just keep the rolling diameter of the front wheels and the rear wheels as close as possible. I used 1010tire's online tire diameter calculator to figure mine out. The closest I could get was .08% difference from front to rear (235/35-19 front, 275/30-19 rear).

This is a great idea if you just want the staggered look.

Can you guys help
I have a 2007 is250 awd.I bought a set of wheels. Specs are 18x9.5 +35 offset.i am buying some coilovers for my car.what recommendations do you suggest to make fit? I am going to roll my questions and fenders. I have to buy 3 mm spacers.do because wheel barely touches calipers. My question is do I have to buy stretch tires or can I still go with regular size tires and what size can I go with? Or am I going to be forced to buy stretch tire and what size should I buy? Thanks

245/40/18 on a 18x9.5 wheel: You can see that it's a minor stretch.
But go ahead and listen to your friend if you want. Buy 275s. Have fun rubbing the crap out of your fender liners and bumper tabs, and not being able to go low enough to make it look good.

25 pages later and I don't think I found a "definite" answer...sorry if I missed it.
'07 is250 awd
19x8.5 +35 all around
235/35/19
F sport suspension
Would this set up require rolling?
Look flush?
What would my my variance be?

also...regarding the offset
19x8.5 +35
19x8.5 +40
19x8.5 +45
Is the offset related to the camber? ie the closer you are to stock (45 in this case) the more your camber will be in spec?
Thanks for the help...
