just wondering if anyone has some good ideas on improving the way the engine bay looks. ive ssen some that have the engine cover painted. that is definetly on the list. im just wondering if anyone has changed out hoses and lines with ones that have just more asthetic value. anyone have experience with this?

 

I think it looks pretty good the way it is, considering it's all covered up and clean. You could

 

I think painting the engine cover is the best thing you can do for the engine bay. You can also get a CF engine cover or CF panels to replace the stock black plastic ones. A pretty battery? Intake? LED accents? There's a few things you can do but since performance mods for our cars are so limited, most people don't bother dressing up their stock engines.

 

In addition to my FSport CF engine cover, I've considered sanding and painting the other three shrouds.

 

There's not a whole lot to do to a 2IS engine as it's all covered up anyway. Although I have seen CF shrouds and LED accent lighting. They both look good.

 

With our engine bay, you can definitely do a few things.

Paint the engine covers, do designs if you must. Now you can also add a strut bar across the top and have a flashy intake pipe per say the f-sport or a joe-z pipe. now most of our wires in the car have some sort plastic wrapping around it so you can always paint those too if you wanted (Granted you'd have to cut them and maybe zip tie them back up). Aside from that, the rest of the engine is covered so you may as well run a few LED lights and put a whole lotta stickers if you're into that. change all the oil caps if you must.
