I've used 303 before as well. Any other time that I haven't, I've used a regular towel with water. No other chemicals have come in contact with my dashboard or door panels.

It's not a question of how it's been cleaned or taken care of. It's crappy material IMO.

Weird... Here in Houston, the temp can reach 100°F in summer but my dashboard seems fine. Hell, my IS was on the lot for the 9 months (starting July) before I bought it. Everything seemed fine.

question: i have some white spots on the plastic on the side of the center console where the shift **** is...any suggestions what to use to clean/protect that are?

haha no i actually think the black plastic is fading...i dont know maybe i should take some pictures.

Kinda to late now but if or when you get it fixed try a sun shade thingie for the windshield. I got a free one well kinda from dealership that was cut for the car. I put it on everyday so that I can avoid this very problem, and to keep the car cooler when its SUPER hot outside

What is yours made of? I used the metallic one and it threw off my compass. When looking at the manual to reset it, it specifies not to have anything metallic near the mirror because it would mess up the sensor. So now I have nothing.

i use a cheap bubble wrap looking reflective metallic plastic sunshade. my compass is fine. is yours made of actual metal?

mine is pretty much the same as the one on the end.
