Default problem with remote NEED HELP PLS

I noticed that the car takes a while to sence that the key is near. i replaced the battery 2 months ago on the remote. so now i don't know whats wrong. please help me thanks

its possible you got a bum battery, get a new one and try again.

do you keep your keys near a computer/electronics? cause that drain batteries pretty fast.

Hmmm, that might make sense

Ever since I got my Iphone, I have been having problems with my remote.

I kept them both in the same pocket.

thanks. i gotta stop doin that then. i always have my phone and keys in the same pocket and always have it next to my computer when i get home. thanks again
