Insane! I agree that most of the time we assume that a shop can do something as simple as attach a wheel to a car - sorry that you had to learn that isn't always the case.
It's nice that the owner is taking full responsibility for your repairs, but given the potential disaster that could have occurred, I hope he goes above and beyond.
Thank you guys, yes please check your rides. I would hate to see anyone in my position.
Update: wheel is on its way, car is being worked on in the body shop, all replacement parts are ordered. Hopefully i see her soon. I miss her already. Lol
damn... sorry to see that happen... as long as your ok. cars and parts are always replaceable... people are not. Youll have her back in no time... hopefully u can get ur hands on a kit in the mean time and get everything put back better than before.
Did they forget to out the lugs on all together? Or just not tightening all 5? Both ways, I'm glad your okay, and keep us posted!
Unbelievable, glad you're Ok.
Last summer my kid was following me in his car just out of service. He calls me on his cell to tell me he's hearing a strange noise from the Left Front wheel. We pull over and discover 3 loose lug nuts. We were lucky and the dealer was very embarassed!
