Default My car wont start?!

crazy short long story,

i took my car to go get tinted right at this shop in SD.

the guy finished the car and drove it outside of their ware house garage..
and as i sat in my car and tried to turn it on..
the car wont start. the breaks felt like it was locked..
the car was able to start like by like turn it on where i to put it on stand by or whatever..but my radio wouldnt start or neither it would lock or anything..my car seats wont even move over or nothing at all..

had like a couple of guys to jump start the car, but it wouldnt even start whatsoever..

got roadside assistant and dropped it off at the dealership.

i wonder what happend!! i think its the keyfob thats dying out or something idkkkk... im somewhat stressin out about it. hoping everything is okay :[

any suggestions what the problem might be??

did the guy who tint your car leave the defroster on the whole time so that the tint would cure faster? there might be a chance that this caused your battery to die, especially if the tint job took like 2 hours

sometimes, i dont know what causes it, but if you try to start the car too many times without the key nearby it will throw a check engine light code for anti theft. but ive only seen it on the toyota factory scanner and im not sure if other scan tools will read it. clear the code, car starts up no problem.

i've actually had the brakes go stiff and lock on me kind of like how you were explaining before.. i just keep pressing on the brakes and trying to start it and eventually it turns over.

okay now supposivly theyre telling me my fusebox blew a fuse!!? and they are saying its my fault cause we tried to jump start backwards?! if thats even possible... but they are telling me they need to me pay 500 to get it fixed. the car is 2 years old. and the tint guys pull the car out of the garage and it stopped working. THEN we tried to jump start it. WHAT TO DO ?!

Maybe the installer 'squeegeeded" a gallon of water down onto a power door motor, or something else electrical, and doesn't want to admit it. I find it very suspicious that it would fail the one day they work on it!!!

This definitely sounds like a possibility.... some tinters use a ridiculous amount of water. Definitely could of shorted something out which explains your blown fuses.

okay guys, we found out the problem...some freakin how...my fuse block got burned out some how...

this was probably done before the jumpstart..but the jumpstart prolly screwed it up even more.

lexus tried to make me pay 500 bucks but i got them to do it under my warranty thank god. lesson learned do not let ppl touch my car!

Well that's good news for you .... they probably realized if they "burned" you on this they could kiss their regular maintenance visits from you goodbye. I am still suspicious of the tint shop thought!

Anyway, got some pic's of the tint????
