Back in July '08 I had a similar incident while scoutong colleges for my kid. These tires on the road are no joke.

If you scroll through the above post you'll see I had an incident with a tire back in '78. Wasn't as lucky then, I flipped a 1970 Barracuda trying to avoid it

^^^ wise words...

I was considering Glacier Frost because it's so beautiful but the car I was looking at had showed it's been in a accident before because the paint couldn't match. Was told it was 9 stage paint (?) and upon closer look, the repainted section was lacking the other colored sparkles. Maybe if you try to get the EXACT paint code from Lexus, the paint shop can enter it into their computer to get the proper mix. Have them make a sample, then test compare it to your actual paint.

Good luck on this, sorry that this happened but the good thing is, it didn't cause you to get into an accident.

I've always wondered about the Glacier Frost paint and the ability to colormatch when having bodywork done.

"For the Horde!"

That tire must have come from some Alliance player.

I know how you must of felt. Two weeks ago, I had a simular problem while driving on the freeway. I piece of shreded tire was kicked up by the vehicle in front of me.
Was unable to change lanes or get out of it way. I thought I ran over it but when I pulled into my garage and took a look at the the front end. Lord and behold, I piece of tire imbeded did center of bottom spoiler grill. Had to get new black Honey comb grill and spoiler repainted. Look as good as new. Now just have to wait for approximately 3 weeks to have clear bra installed again.
