I been waiting for a week to receive the 09+ tail lights, finally it came in today, when I tried to install the inner tail is didn't fit in due to the trunk lid where the original inner light has the curve part, and the new light has flat plastic part, so no way to fit in, and I called my friend tommy, he have installed the 09+ tails on his to find out how to make it work? he told me that I have to bend the trunk metal part in a little to able to put the new inner light in, which is fit in then I start exciting now, but nooooooooo the sewell sent me only two wire harness, so those two harness I received just for the outer lights not the inner lights, now i am stuck with two missing wire harness I hope sewell would send me soon? and tomorrow is friday, i don't think i can drive my car this weekend SUCK

no I bought both inner and outer, but it came in only outer part harness, but missing inner harness

Dude....... thats an easy fix.

1. Walk into your garage and grab a hammer.
2. Start banging the metal piece behind the 06+ tail lights thats on the trunk lid in.
3. Mount your 09+ tails and plug them in.
4. Enjoy!

Sewell did the same thing to me and forgot to include my harnesses. They realized that after the tail lights were shipped out. So the next day they ended up shipping the harnesses. Have you called them?

yeah i emailed sewell, and they said they missed the inner wire harness, as soon the harness come in, they'll ship them to me, too bad i don't have the new lights done by this weekend

go to the parts store and get yourself some sockets and wire, and make your own harness.

well the part store's doesn't carry the toyota LED small PLUG, that the one i need, the older IS tail lights harness which is the reverse socket still fit in the 09+ tail, but not the LED PLUG is different.

...for the harness to both ohiois350 and you flextone, it was my fault. It's not necessarily that they were missing from the shipment, but rather I didn't process them as being part of the kit. Of these kits in question each of them had different wire harness combinations and yes, I'm still a bit confused as to which kit takes which harness, although once I get your two harnesses [ohiois350] in on Tuesday, I'll get this nailed down once and for all.

Thanks Darrel! I can't wait to get those harness, yeah this weekend i have to drive my car with the older taillights, but the new tails would be on my car next weekend for sure I wish the IS-F bumper is the part of the F-sport sale coming, but I wonder what the sound like for the F-sport exhaust?
