It lists seven reasons to take a hard look at them and discusses Lexus standards. It's a great read to make you feel good about your choice of vehicle.

^ Interesting read, and even more interesting that they use an IS250 to test the F-Sport line. What's even more remarkable is how everyone tried to tell themselves that IS's didn't belong on a track.

That being said about 0.2% of the IS owners in this forum actually track their car so no matter how hard Lexus tries to push for a different image and a race inspired approach, no one will ever really know what they were going for since most parts will only be shown off at a parking lot or a photoshoot.

To conclude, I love my IS, she's slow but she's seen more battles and track time than most IS's ever will. I'm highly dissapointed in the image that is portrayed when this car is represented, because trully it's represented so (for lack of a better word) detrimental.

The magazine also has this article that you might find interesting about a guy who took his IS F out on an amateur track at Auto Club Speedway in California. He actually beat "everybody's" heavily modified race vehicles.

It's a Q & A piece with the driver but it offers a bit more insight into taking the IS on the track. Hope you get a kick out of that one and let me know what you think!

Hey thanks Turnten! I liked the article a lot.

Now that I think about it, I've been on that same track with a professional driver on an IS-F for Lexus F-Sport event. Even on OEM tires it does beautiful on the track. I like how he said that he takes his kids to school, and it's the daily driver, but out of the calm it's on a track only to be back to its daily routine. Just beautiful to see someone taking an F out on the track and putting it to good use! Can't wait for the cold season to roll around to get back on the track

It puts a smile to my face when I'm on the track, even though it's a slow car to say the least, it has potential over many fast cars. Shall I mention the slalom

Now with this $300 off coupon it should work out for the final pieces needed before the full upgrade. I have several parts laying around, but I want to get everything needed so the car will feel completely different after everythings on it. A friend once told me, "don't worry about mods, just drive", while I was up in Willow Springs Raceway. And so I did and it does well, now for the encore.

It's always interesting to hear how these cars are doing in real world track events not just numbers.

Now that you mention it I am very curious to know how the team that worked on the LFA's suspension contributed to the new IS F-Sport.
