Default [HELP] Problem with the whole interior lights system

Today, I tried to replace the rear dome light with three LEDs bulbs and after I put everything together, I turned on the front dome light. The lights went on but really weak and then shut off completely. The front dome light, rear dome light, reading light, sun visor light, mirror light and trunk light are completely dead. Anyone has this problem before? Anyone has any idea how to fix this? Please help me

3 in the dome? The dome only takes 2. Sounds like you blew a fuse. Check your fuse box

I think I blew it too. Can you show me exactly what should I do?

im not sure man, I just bought the car back in april. I have yet to investigate everything. But I think the fuse box is under your hood somewhere. But im not sure, some of the guys who've been around here longer will know.

and next time you install these make sure the car is completely shut off. Wait until your dome lights dim out before removing them.

It depends on the model year of your IS. I have a 2006 IS and I have 3 in the front dome light.

Just look for the fuse then remove it. Check it to see if it's blown. Then replace the fuse with the same amp rating marked on it.

If it blows again, then swap your dome lights back. Chances are, your dome lights may be drawing too much current.
