The $1000 mod question

Basically, if you have $1000 to mod, what will you do?
I am allowed to spend $1000 on my mods and I can't do any more mods for 12 months.
Option 1. (I'm currently leaning towards this)
F-Sport Exhaust and painted brake calipers. Or maybe a CF roof spoiler instead.
Option 2.
F-Sport Sways, F-Sport Intake, 6500 HID
NOTE: I'm avoiding lowering my car because it's going to get messed up from parking curbs and driveways. Wife will be driving car too.

Id say black out the grille, CF wrap the pillars, CF wrap the interior wood, and paint your emblems whatever color you want& HIDs for sure, also replace the tiny bulbs next to the projector with LEDs (there are 3 lights in the 09 headlight at least). Coloring break calipers is pretty sick too, although the 250's have small ones ![Sad](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif)
I don't know how you like to drive, but persoanlly I love the fact that the 250 is silent but powerful. Although I don't know how loud the F intake is, I don't think the 10hp(w/e it is) boost is worth the price tag(~450msrp). You gotta think real hard when putting those kind of parts on your car. If you don't take tight corners or take your car to the track, why would you put sway bars on your car? Not trying to say its a bad idea, I'm just trying to put it into perspective
, if thats what you're into then go for it![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Other possible mods (if you're into it):
-Replace step light covers with clear ones (09's were red)
> Replace bulbs with LEDs
-Interior LED light kit
-Tint windows
-Wrap L on steering wheel
-Wrap paddel shifters
-Sports pedals
-IS-F shift **** (or wrap silver part)
-Wrap chrome trim
-Get some custome stickers made for like the gas tank cover or the handle bars
-Buy LED light strips, piggy back them to the puddle lights and tape them under your door (looks sick!)
-LED light in the side mirror pubble light
edit: If you go with option 1 ther isnt a whole lot of room for other things, ie this guys selling the exauhst for 880 (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is2...t-exhaust.html). Going to be tough to find a good roof spoiler for 120. Break caliper painting at a body shop I would guess would be somewhere in the line of $150-200 (depending on what they charge per hour) unless you DIY which I believe you can search for and there is a pretty awesome DIY posting for it.

If you get an intake, you can get the joe-z pipe with the f-sport lower intake box for $240 or so total and there's a promo for the entire f-sport intake for about $266 or so. F-sport sways definitely which brings you to about $600-700 or so. With $300 remaining you can still paint your calipers, buy some HID kits, get the steering damper, and take your wife out to a nice dinner. Just my two cents.

Shadowman, think about why you want to do certain mods before you invest a lot of money.
The intake sounds nice when coupled with the exhaust but you hardly get any boost in power (from what I was told)
If your wife plans on driving a bit aggressively when you aren't looking, I would suggest the bars. Another thing to keep in mind is that in an emergency situation (like I recently had) the sways might help - that's my reason for doing the sways as a matter of fact.
If you want the car to look mean, then I'd go for the body kits.
Exhaust is always nice, and I'm thinking maybe you can get away the exhaust and the rear sway with the special promotion that's going on right now.
