Default New member, couple questions..

Hey everyone I am currently in the market trying to find a used IS350. I am selling my mazdaspeed 3, and actually quite new to how rear wheel drive set ups work. I actually have a set of rims on the way for the Speed 3, Advan RZ 18X8.5 45 offset. My question is, would I have issues running larger tires in the back, and possibly a 235/40 in the front? Will I have a sunk look to my set up? I really want to keep these rims, and open to suggestions on what a good tire set up is for this car with these wheel dimensions. Thanks.

u should be fine. if it looks like the wheels are not looking the way u want them to, spacers can always take care of that problem.

8.5 is a pretty standard setup up front. I've seen 9.5, 10, & 10.5 in the rear. That would be a staggered fitment. You could run spacers in the rear to bring the tire more flush. I suggest using the search area to find out more about wheels and tires. Not sure how wide a tire you can run on an 8.5" rim. I've hears of 245 to 285 in the rear. Welcome to CL.

Thanks for the response guys. I'll definitely do a search on more set ups. I'll probably do 245/40 in the rear. Any other input or suggestions would be great!

do 245/40 rear 225/40 front and rock 20mm spacers rear and 20 up front. no rub and no mods to the fenders. but if you have anymore wheel questions feel free to ask in the will these wheel fit thread.
