Default Is there a way to turn off the day lights?

I just installed 6k xeon HID's to my 06 is250 and I don't like the look with the daytime running lights. Is there any way to turn them off? I've seen some pics of other lexus' on the forum that don't have them on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

^ Yup, it can be turned off by the dealer as part of the Lexus Personalized Settings.

do you mean drl or city light? the little halogen color bulb which turns on with your hids isn't the same as your DRL.

The DRLs are the same bulb as the highbeams, you probably don't want to physically disable the light.

As mentioned, the dealer can turn the DRLs off without impacting high-beam function.

I think you got the idea, take it to the dealer... Call ahead to see if they can do it as a courtesy at no charge...

My dealer says they won't touch the computer, unless it's for service. I wanted them to do the same thing. I just keep my lights, but keep your eyes out for cops (in CA it's illegal to have above like 5k I think, dono about Texas)
