Current IS350 prices paid?

Has anyone tried Truecar.com's "Certified Best Local Price" feature? It's giving me a "guaranteed" low price that is too good to be true (Invoice - $700, including Destination/Ad fees). The options I gave would require special order, so I assume it's not a quote on a vehicle that is on the lot.

Hi Avex,
Just curious. Did you buy the is350 yet? and what price are you getting?
I am thinking of getting:
IS350 RWD
still deciding on the color.. either:
a) Ultrasonic blue (this is nice color but i don't want to attract racers or police..)
b) obsidian (just typical black...)
c) starfire pearl (nice up close.. not nice far away)
Package B: Navigation System with Additional Option
* HDD Navigation System [3]
* Voice command
* Color LCD display
* Enhanced Bluetooth® technology [4]
* XM NavTraffic® [3] [5]
* XM NavWeather™ [3] [5]
* XM® Sports and Stocks [3] [5]
* Lexus Enform® [6] [7]
ACCESSORIES
* F Sport™ Performance Exhaust System [1] [2] (not sure if it's worth it.. it looks nice..)
* Wheel locks

Right now, looks like you can get $700 under invoice (in my area at least) if you buy a leftover 2010. The 2011's are about $1,200 more than that. The difference is because there is a dealer incentive (presumably of about $1,200) on the 2010s.
The Truecar.com web site is a great tool, so use it to check your area prices.
My current IS is Obsidian. I really liked it. Just be sure to get the black interior with it.
This time I'll probably go Matador Red, just for a change. Frankly, I'm not crazy about the color, but it's better than the other choices. I loathe white cars (there's a reason they paint test drones white). We already own two silver cars, so that's out. That wacky blue looks great in the commercials, but I have a bad feeling it will look awful when the car is not completely clean, and as it starts to age. I really wish they had a wider palette of color choices.
What's bothering me now is that I heard the 2012 IS will be an all new design, so my new 2011 will look "old" after just one year.![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
UPDATE: Just learned in the other thread that the new IS will actually be a 2013. Now I feel a lot better about a 2011.

The 2011's will not be discounted much at all at this early stage of the model year. Add USB as a color and you will be paying top dollar. I'd wait it out at least a few months or for the winter.
