A little late, but I installed my very first mod 2 days ago. I call it top secret mod... I'll show it a little later. Took me about 2 hours... 30 minutes spent on carefully removing all the engine covers without breaking the clips.

Wiped down the interior with good smelling leather wipes. Very OCD when it comes to scratch marks in the interior.

Decided to change oil today, had 7qt of RP then i looked at them~ had old 2 10w40 from when i had my 5.0 counted with them... so went to the store to buy 2 5w30... bad start~

so now im rdy to begin~

it was very uneventful cept for getting the damm SST off the oilfilter housing... started draining the oil THEN~ well the damm oil eater box holds 5qts and our engines hold 6.7... this is not my first time and i became complacent and instead of checking under the car i sat back to smoke a cig... then i saw it coming from under the car ...

*this is the aftermath*

from a simple easy oil change turned into a solid few hours of clean up... FML

^ I once changed the oil in my old Infiniti within 5 minutes of driving the car over 60 miles. I learned the hard way just how hot engine oil gets.

hahahahahahahaha, I hated watching that catch pan get closer and closer to the rim and then pour all over the garage floor. There cars are pigs on oil. Does anyone know why they take so much? Seems like a lot compared to other cars I've owned/changed oil on.
