None of the DVD-based nav systems have ipod controls natively, so probably not

I will snap some pics after work today
It could be they were always there and I just didn't notice but I've had the car 4 years and that seems unlikely

Yes, even the small dead-end neighborhood streets

No more "agree" screen? That alone is worth the price of the disk!

I just installed the 10.1 Nav disk in my 2006 IS350. I see NO change in the info provided in the gauge cluster window. The options are the same as before.

Cheers,

Yes, on all versions of the software. It is disabled when you turn your instrument panel lighting to maximum brightness. Just turn down your instrument panel brightness with the **** to the left of the steering wheel (it will click when at full brightness), and it should switch automatically at night. There is also an option to lock it in day mode on the menus, but my guess is your panel brightness.

It is outdated now.

Cheers,
Thanks for confirming, I didn't think it would change that display but now we know.

If you update your nav disc you lose your software override functionality. You could do a hybrid DVD (search it), but I don't think it works with the newer maps/firmware. You could always cut the wires and do the nav hack, or get the override module from Prestigious Society.

I can vouch that the hybrid works with map version 9.1, and some others can as well. The thread is here:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...007-isx50.html

I'm not sure that anyone's tried the 10.1, but given that it's worked with versions 6,7,8, and 9, not sure that I have reason to believe it wouldn't work with 10

^ I stand corrected - you still have to press the "I Agree" button with a hybrid DVD though right?

Cheers,
Do these map DVDs always come out in September? This poster, and another, say they have the "10.1" version, but Lexus' website still says 9.1 version. WTF?

Never mind my earlier post; I found lots of info about 10.1 version.
