Magnetic Drain Plug
#2
i use it on my bike as well as on my mb's and bmws. the thing is after 180k miles on a 3 series with it on, i can say it was a waste since there never was any wear justifying the magnet on the drain plug.
sure there was fine fine dusting on it, but not like on the bike where you could say yes definitely worth it, since you can see little specs of metal.
i came to the conclusion since clutch/tranny/engine oil is shared on the bike, more specs will be visible. on cars though, not enough wear that's not in the filter already, so if i had to do it again, i'd skip cars, but for bikes a must.
