all weather floor mats
Does anyone know if the OEM rubber mats will/are being redesigned and if they will be made available again? At least before the cold weather hits in the North East? Does anyone prefer the OEM mats over say WeatherTech? Does anyone have any pics of the WeatherTech mats? I see they offer a couple of options 1. floor mats 2. floor liner. Which one is better?

I don't think the Lexus floor mats will go under another revision. It was already revised for the "stuck gas pedal" recall. But that drop the quality because they were thinner. Most people will wear through the revised weather floormats.
The Weather Tech mats are all over the car magazines. They (weathertech) all pretty much look the same. Since it's computer cut, the mats will fit nicely into our cars. Floormats are nice but floor liner offer more protection. Floor liner is like a bucket that will catch alot of debris and water. Plus, WeatherTech is more durable than the new mats by Lexus.
I think there's someone who has this also and they have pics.

i recently purchased the liners for a pickup truck. they were expensive, but having seen them in the magazines many times over the years i figured i'd give them a shot. Very nice. they fit perfect. would definitely buy again. i just got the new replacement mats if (when?) they wear out i will probably buy the weather tech liner.

Delaer around me says October, I couldn't wait and purchased one from a member here. Very happy with the old OEM ones. The new ones has IS on th emats and are definitely softer and wears out faster. I too prefer OEM over anything else, but if I couldn't find a set, I was going to order one from Weather tech.
