Here are a few examples of what I'm referring to:
2nd pic is off a 95 F50, not exactly a classic but you get what I'm saying.
I saw one in a movie a long time ago, not sure what movie just thought it looked cool. When I first drove an IS300 I remember thinking that...
That's why I stuck with old faithful from my 02 IS3, looks just like the one Bigrahizzl posted.

No apologies necessary but thank you! 
Mine is column shift and still is. I want to change it but if I do that it won't match the build sheet anymore. I'd like it to be on the floor, though. It was originally owned and custom ordered by an old lady. Has original black stripes instead of white. Also has bench seat 
. But she was the original owner, kept it in a barn and sold it at 89,000 miles.
