In case you havent heard... (IS350 AWD)

Yep. And it officially goes from 3527 lbs to 3704 lbs. Nearly 200 lbs of added crap. No doubt it will launch better, but everything else will be hurt from a performance perspective.

I have not seen any road tests on the 350AWD yet, but the Lexus website lists the IS350 AWD at 5.7s and the IS350 RWD at 5.6s, a difference of only 0.1s. Similiarly the 1/4 mile is 13.9 and 14.1, respectively. I know the 350RWD actually runs closer to 5.0 - 5.1, but I would expect the difference to be consistient. In other words, the AWD should run 5.1 - 5.2 if the RWD is 5.0 - 5.1. These differences are not likely to be percetable to most peoples "butt dyno". The website does not list skidpad numbers. They would not tell the whole story anyway as extra weight slows directional transitions and may not hurt the skidpad as much.
I got rid of my IS250AWD and have gone back to German cars, but the thing that I disliked the most about my former IS was the annoying bump behind the gas petal. I assume that is present on the 350AWD as well. That is added crap that would bother me.

Yep... And the IS-F weighs 3,780 !!! No doubt it's 110HP and 96 lb-ft of torque offsets the extra weight in flat out accelration, but weight will detract from handling.

5.3 isn't updated on lexus.com but it is mentioned in their recent press releases about the IS350.

Officially, but not actually. Mine weighed in at 3742, about 20 lbs more than the current M3.
If the 350 AWD had another 110 hp, it would be a lot better, but unfortunately all it will do is launch better than the current 350. It might even launch better than the F, but I doubt it will lap a road course faster.
