Unless I'm completely off beat here, I'm not sure that applies to me. I asked for today and tomorrow off so I can go to a meet tonight. Since my schedule is so varied and I know it will end late, I didn't want to be too tired.

Here is a picture I am posting of my car.

As you can see, it's rather plain. At this point I dont' really see a need to add anything else to my car.

I'm going to the meet to eat and hang out with some friends and make new ones that have a similar interest as I. NOT to show off or to satisfy other people.

Micaiah: I think you've got the right idea. It's dangerous to come to a forum like this and see all of the heavily modified cars when you're just looking to do a little here and there.

Stick to your guns. I think your car looks great. I wish I could park in a spot like that.

Did you understand why the op ask the community for opinions on a mod?

Maybe the op doesn't want to be like this guy lol:

Thanks for showing off your car. It's a nice car, but lexus in general are nice car. Post this in any other car forum and they will agree.

Also have fun at the meet, I'm sure everybody will comment on how nice your car is when you "show" it to them.

We've all seen a lot of those types...

That's apples to oranges in regards to the OP's questions about a CF cover with a F sport badge. Lexus sells F-sports badges separately and who ever buys them has a right to put them where ever or how ever they please. Be it a NON Fsport cover or just on the fender or where ever.

Do you have to have tons of Fsport stuff just for you to sport the badge? Are there some requirements somewhere ?

you can put the badge on your car even if you don't have any f-sport parts and that would be still lame.

If posting a picture of my car to show YOU how plain it is, is "showing it off", then you have not been to a REAL car show.

Oh GAWD I missed Good Guys last month...

Initial K:

What is your opinion of someone who strips their car of all company and model emblems?

Maybe lame for you but some people might like it. You can't just generalize it like that.

LAME. Like everyone said thats like putting volks on your rota wheels. Trying to make an item look like something else. Basically a knock off/replica or what most people call a FAKE. Since all you have is a shift ****, you should use this money and get something useful such as f sport sway bars. If anything get some cf overlays for your interior. Not the cloth. The real pieces.
