i would want a flat bottom all leather steering wheel, with no wood inserts. Since i sometimes drive with my hand on top of the steering wheel, I would much prefer the feel of a leather steering wheel than a wood one.

That may be a possibility, i will look into it. As for the wood grain / CF, EACH STYLE steering wheel has nice carved RIDGES in the back. Feels really nice and gripy, especially when making sharp turns from the top. There is a picture of one of the steering wheels showing the ridges. I can assure you all the styles and wheels have them

I do agree, this is something Lexus should have made the steering wheels with color matched wood from the start. I believe only Japan has them from oem.

Remember the flat bottom is an LF A Style Steering Wheel. (Lexus Super Car)

I hope this vendor will be able to carbon fiber-ize the black plastic surrounding the steering wheel buttons. That would be a nice touch too.
