Default My Turn!!

Did my rear emblems, front emblem, and the grille surround.....super stoked on how it turned out. I sprayed 5 coats on each.....check out my pics :

PREP WORK

FINISHED BACK EMBLEMS

LEXUS EMBLEM

"L" EMBLEM

IS350 EMBLEM

FINISHED FRONT (with a touch of editing lol...)

GRILLE CLOSE-UP

"L" CLOSE-UP

LASTLY....(if you plan on not removing the grille) Make sure you take the painter's tape off carefully, or else the Pastidip will tear off the chrome (as seen below). I used an exacto knife to help, but I still wasn't careful enough. Mine wasn't that bad tho...

ALSO....It helps a WHOLE lot peeling the excess Plastidip off with more coats, it doesnt rip as easy.

haha yeah, just a thought.. add to the whole back and white theme.. do you think its too much? Just a thought that maybe it would look good..? =S
but either way, do you think it'll hurt the paint in the long run?

Maybe I should sand off a lil paint off my OEM wheels before applying this...so that it will stick better? Maybe just primer? That plastic dip also has primer.

haha i actually meant the WHOLE mirror cover, including the chrome trim around the signal lights. If it is not a good idea to leave it on paint, then i might just do only the chrome part too. Thanks for the idea
