I pretty much unloaded a can per wheel. So they aren't thin coats to say the least. I might do a couple more. I was also limited by how much plastidip the shop had. Good call on the cleaning. I also lightly sanded down all the rash on the wheels before cleaning.

Make sure your tires are mounted before you apply dip. The tire machine will make mincemeat out of the coating, resulting in you trying to peel that whole thing off and redoing it.

As an FYI for the Canadians out there, Home Depot in Canada doesn't carry dip. Home Hardware does.

Just did my homies BMW 335i (emblems and front grill) and it's dope!

Also, just washed my car for the first time after "dipping" my rims, holds up perfect!

so much easier to clean, you can't see brake dust, it just wipes off

^^^ nice to know it holds up. I took my car to the self wash today and i was hesitant to pressure wash on the dipped areas. I was afraid it would come off

Dipped my winter wheels! You only see three because my 4th is used as my spare and I was too lazy to get it out. lol I will get that done soon. There are a few flaws but I don't care....just my winter wheels. I am very happy though with the results.

Add me to the list.

It was ridiculously easy to use. It peeled off like it was literally made to spray emblems. All for $5... ideal.

I bet plasti-dip stock is up 10% since CL got on board, lol.

it poured on my car yesterday, no issues noticed.

I'm trying to get my girl to let me do her 20" FX35 oem wheels but she's being a PITA about it

^ Hahaha, running out of things to dip? I kinda wish I kept my stockies now so I could plasti-dip them and run them in the winter...

It can withstand rain and car washes with no problem. Stuff is tough! Especially the more layers you use
