I just wanted black wheels lol, the OP saved me literally $800-$1200. Just plastidiped my stock rims. Looks amazing.

Second the exhaust thing... it will melt onto the exhaust tip and start to burn/melt.
Don't dip the exhaust tips. If you run out of idea, dip your windshield for a custom tint.
PlastiDip is a rubber material meant for insulating metallic objects such as making a rubber grib for a plier, etc... It can't withstand that high temp.

I don't know exactly how lexus places their exhaust caps over the actual pipes but the break pad separates the disk from the caliper thus heat less heat is transferred from disk to caliper. Because the caliper part that is painted does not actually come into contact with the break disk (where all the heat comes from). I assume the specific heat of the caliper is very high so because the dip doesnt come off the caliper doesnt mean it will not come off the pipe. - luckily its like this so you can paint the caliper
If the actual pipe that transfers the emissions from the engine to the outside world is too close to or touching the chrome surrounding that forms our exhaust tip then the heat is significantly higher. If there is enough room between the pipe and chrome then there should not be a significant amount of heat transferred so plastidip might stick.
**Best suggestion is to just spray a little onto the exhaust, maybe under the tip so if it messes up the finish (from being heated) it will not be visible.
good luck!

Dang you Brociouz. You know I always listen to you. Grrrr.........
Thanks for posting those, NU350. It does look a little bright. I'd like to see when you do a darker blue. But I didn't know they even had a darker blue.
Oh and whatcha got there on the grille?

a tinny little bit of black in a bowl and brush it on. I will try it out
on the front logo first.
