i already have alot of plastidip stuck underneath and in between the gaps of the emblems and the car. its almost impossible to get out without scratching the paint, thats why i was thinking of debadging for easy cleaning of underneath.

for those having problems, how long are you allowing it to dry? i got excited and took the tape off too early on my grille, revealing the chrome, so i redid it, but let it set for a bit longer.

I made sure and left it to dry for about an hour...it wouldn't hurt to let it dry a little longer than 15-30 minutes.

did my exhaust tips and re did my front grille surround over the weekend. I'm thinking of doing my girls entire FX35 in the spring. I dont want to do it to my car, but maybe hers because it has some scratches and scuffs that are annoying me anyway.

I'm thinking of doing the roof and hatch one day, and the doors, bumpers and front end the next. And if a panel gets messed up, I can just redo that panel.

Try it without then! This stuff holds pretty well. Just add extra coats.

Btw....my winter wheels are holding up just fine! =)
