Have never seen plasti dipped rear area but seen vinly maybe painted. I wouldn't do that area with plasti dip bec it won't be perfect. On the other hand if you don't like it, peel it off lol

That area where the license plate is? I don't think it'll last because there's no edge for the Plasti-dip stick on to. It'll end up lifting from the sides and such.

Just tried plastidipping my emblems tonight but peeling them off is a lot harder than I had expected. How'd you guys get such clean peels especially around the edges of the letters? I waited for over an hour before starting to peel but some of the plastidip around the corners peeled off as well.

you need more layers of spray...the more layers you spray on the easier it is.

spray it 3 times and wait 15 min inb/w then 30mins to 1 hour to start peeling. the trick with the peeling is to do it quickly if u do it too slow.. it will lift up the sides. quick like a wax peel job on girls legs. ummm get a toothpick and make a hole in the center emblem and start rubbing it ..like u do with glue to make the hole bigger and stick ur finger inside and start stretching then. peel it quickly.

Has anyone tried this on rims? Thinking of painting my chrome lip black, seems like this route would be easier and more affordable

Thought i would bump this thread up.. Any updates from the previous members and there emblems? are they still intact? Thinking of doing the GS and ES emblems.. and possibly the roof on the GS...

Has anyone done there roof or is that a bad idea? I only have 2 emblems in the back of the GS due to debadging but its going to look good on the pearl white IMO..
