Im gonna remove the center areas tomorrow ... I was planning on ripping the middle of each with my fingernail and peeling away ... or is there a better method?

Or should I be crazy and leave it? lol

Pierce the center with a tooth pic, once you get a handle on the plastic start rolling the tooth pic between your fingers, thus, rolling the dip onto the pic. The dip should peel off in 1 shot or until the tooth pic snaps lol.

I suggest removing the center as it will look dirty over time after dust etc builds up on it.

I had a similar experience. I left mine on for nearly 4 months but last week I decided to remove the black plastidip from the middle of my emblem. The look just wasn't growing on me. During this process it was crucial that I;
1. Not peel off plastidip coating on the emblem - otherwise I'd have to re-spray it.
2. Most importantly, not scratch any part of my paint.

I started each section by using my fingernail to lightly scrape up an edge of the coat and then working towards corners with the assistance of tweezers. The key was to remove the section in one piece so that the edges lift like magic.

Here's my last section:

I am happy to say everything came off without a hitch. The plastidip peeled off my paint as easily as the day I applied it. It's truly a testament to the durability and consistency of this product.

Done. Yay! Now this I like better;

4 coats, 30 min between each, 1hr dry

And if you're wondering how safe Plasti Dip is on paint, it didn't even disturb the grime around my badge.

Nah, it's just pliable plastic...

if you want to do your tips, it would have to be high temperature paint...

although...why would you want to paint your tip? =\

Ok the tip to get the middle of the emblem is just rub it like glue when its on ur hand... and just keep rubbing then when the hole u made with the tooth pick gets big enough you can peel it off. smoothly.

Some people like the stealthy look of exhausts but I think it might look weird with it.
