Thanks guys. I read somewhere else about the tooth pick but to take it a step further after you get a small hole start to spin the tooth pick and it just peels right off.

I just plasti dip'd my grill surround and L emblems last weekend and I LOVE IT.

I took them all off and sprayed them on cardboard. I wanted it think and solid so I did overkill and put on 10 coats but damn does it look clean!

1st coat light
next 9 medium

Waited about 10-15 minutes per coat

An hour after the last coat

Reassemble!!!

Plasti Dip FTW... My buddy at work took and did the entire chrome front grill of his H3 the day after he saw this on my car and it looks pimp on that aswell

He's a crappy pic

Hi fellow plasti dippers ! This is the easiest and fastest way to totally change the look of your car in a weekend ! and if you need to change it back to chrome ! It peels right off leaving no marks or residue. Helpful hints for you to prevent mishaps. A trick that I learned one evening when it was cold ! I wanted to apply several coats at-least 5 or 6 and for fast dry time I tried a HAIR DRYER it worked awesome!!! as you spray it sets the rubber twice as fast. Let it set about 15 min before you peel back or it can lift. Your done !
