Hey Plastidip pros... to the guys who have done their wheels... when the Plastidip starts to fade do you just peel it off and spray them again or do you just spray over them???
Just redid mine this weekend. Plastidip right over the last stuff. Just make sure the paint surface is clean.
Question....has anyone ever thought of plastidiping there engine cover? Just an idea i might do that
I did. But then I also painted it to match the sfp and put a couple coats of gloss on it too. 2 coats of plasti dip, 2 coats of white, 2 coats of gloss. (I did the same with my stock wheels, except painted then gloss black, before I got my new wheels.)

Looks good stole my idea. What does Sfp stand for? I saw they sell a gold too I was thinking making doing gold and matte black or matte black and white

Sfp = starfire pearl. It's just white but it's close. Haha. And thanks!
I tried this thing 2 times and it keeps peeling off the letters. Then removing the leftover plastic is a PITA to reset. I hate this!
Hella fail (me).
Took me several tries to get it right too. Yes, it was frustrating, but I think the key to success is spraying it in even, thin coats and letting it dry fully in between each coat.
