yea i just noticed the clear option. Didnt pay attention to it b4.

Im thinking it will just lay a clear rubberized coat to where ever u apply it.

How about paint entire wheel in blue?

I would say nay, but you can try. It is easy to peel off anyway.

i did this today after seeing this thread and its sooo easy. the only tricky part is taking off the rubber in between the words but just use some kind of sharp plastic like a pen cap.

now that ive done this im thinking of spraying the face of my wheels black, and if i dont like it i can just peel it off!

Is there any product on the market that can be applied over Plasti Dip® to provide a glossy finish?
Our Perfomix® Brand F-799 Top Coat will provide a glossy finish and is currently available in 5 gallons and 50 gallon drums.
That is from the plastidip website. In case anyone was wondering if you could make the matte colors into glossy colors. The only thing is I can't find it on their website

For those thinking of plastidippin' their wheels, first off: post some pics, and second: how/what are you putting behind the wheel so the spray doesn't get on the rotors and such?

i'm thinking this might be a cheap alternative to blacking my wheels...
