Good job on the plasti-dip. This is by far one of the best DIY mods for under $10.

You can see some minor chrome specs on top and bottom of the emblems. But like you said, another coat on the edges should do the trick.

I bought a whole lot bc I wrapped my roof the pillars on the exterior the grill surround and my interior. Btw we are getting off topic on this thread so if u need anymore info feel free to pm me

I've been spending hours online looking for a nice and reasonably priced emblem kit with no luck.. I'll be giving **** a shot first thing tomorrow.

I didn't flip thru every single page on this thread, but does anyone have a picture of this done on matador red? I'm going to do black wheels, headlights and tints so I'm hoping this will look good on the back.

Point of no return.. Did 4 nice, even, light coats per OP instructions, and a light 5th mainly to fully get around the edges. Will peel, pic and post in about an hour.

Well after having my co workers and manager at the dealership I work at stand around and tell me how crazy I was for trusting the plasti dip on my paint, they stood with their jaws dropped when I peeled it off with ease. It came out very clean and was super simple to do. 5 light coats with 30 min in between and an hour dry time at the end, worked like a charm. Will post pics in about an hour when I get hone.

Pictures are just from my cell, but you get the idea.. most of my time was spent prepping, and then carefully picking out in between the letters.

First three pictures weren't taken until I believe after the 3rd coat.

I did my front grille 7 months ago and there's no peeling or rock chips. Had several bugs splattered on the PlastiDip, but it was easily washed off.
