I been looking everywhere for a color matched rear GFX lip and Sewell says its "discontinued" when I click on the option. Is there anywhere that sells that OEM Black color..? And also I don't know if I have Black Onyx or Obsidian......? I didn't see a color code anywhere on the car or in the manual.....? Thanks

swell is out of stock for black onyx and obsidian. now a days its hard to find a vendor that sells prepainted gfx front lips in that color. next option is to just buy one and repaint it. theres a recent thread here that says sewell is selling it for $60. thats pretty cheap already.

also theres no real difference between black onyx and obsidian. looks the same to me.

*update: sorry that thread for the $60 lip was for the front GFX lip

you should try calling your local lexus dealer. thats what i did for my rear. as luck would have it they still had it in stock after all these years.

what happened was that somewhere in the catalog where they reference their inventory, it had black listed as certain color code, so when they did a search it was unavailable, but there was a guy there who heard that the color code for black changed, and that the catalog was outdated. so sure enough they tried the new color code and they were able to locate it in the warehouse. i think thats why it stayed there so long was because probly when they did the inventory search they were inputting the wrong color code. best of all, it was only $90!!!

im not saying that thats what'll happen for you, but luck was on my side, maybe it can be on yours too. i would try it out just for the heck of it.

I have an 06' and it's Black Onyx. I believe Obsidian came out 07' and on.

you can actually have sewell paint and ship it but it will be kind of pricey, call them and ask for darrel, here is his information

these are the prices he gave me back then, the price below is just for paint, rear lip price not included(i.e. rear lip 168+paint 180= 346, i think it is about 400 shipped)

Buy the GFX rear from Sewell, take it to Paint Recon off Hurlburt Field Rd. and he can paint it in his booth using 212 Obsidian same day.

Probably 75-100 for both since he doesn't have to remove anything. He paints everything for Quality Toyota/BMW and painted my GFX rear.

i just saw westminster has the rear for $99.. you'll have to paint it.. they dont have many in existent that are pre-painted now a day especial in black (or at least they have it in every other color except the one you need)

I can Paint it myself, painting is not the problem....I guess ill just get the cheapest one and take it to my work and spray it if I have time.

Actually no, it's the stock side, to me I really didnt see a difference between the two so I just kept it as is
