-edit-

a few day back, there was a 2011 driving behind me. It was cloudy so lights kinda brighter than normally is but looking at the rear view mirror I can tell that the new DRL is similarly as bright as the traditional Audi DRL. Couldn't say exactly as bright, little dimmer but relatively stand-out and eye-catching on the road.

You put blizzaks on man. AWD doesn't make you stop better. With blizzaks, I could get through anything an AWD IS is going to get through on oem all seasons. V8 pointless? Is there snow on the street 365 days a year? I was there last september and it was beautiful and dry out there. I'd imagine the actual roads get plowed and they are clear a good a 340 days a year. Just because there is snow on the grass doesnt mean there is snow on the street. The streets get plowed, the roads dry and you can beat on a V8 all you want.

What rims are those? I thought the IS350's came with the ugly lobster claw rims? Your rims looks like a more chisled version of the older split 5 spoke, however yours look smaller. Are those 17's or are they still 18's. Your wheel gap looks significantly more than the other models, although I have the sports package so i'm alittle biased.

agreed. my point (coming from a turbo I4) was that V8's lose about ~3-4% hp for every 1,000ft. of elevation. Denver is ~5280. which means excluding drivetrain loss, driving a V8 (regardless of wet or dry) at this elevation will be at a loss of ~15% hp. my point was that at that rate (here in Colorado) might as well get anything smaller than a V8.
