Default Product Warning Nokya Hyper-yellow Fog Bulbs

I have a 3rd gen GS but I know many of you use similar bulbs. I've been running the hyper yellow Nokya 2500 bulbs for a while. They dont seem to last long and I've needed to replace each bulb once due to premature burnout....I was not surprised to see a bulb out this week so I went to swap my OEM bulbs back since this ***** is getting old....Look what I found....needless to say I am back to OEM now....luckly, the connection is still good and the OEM bulb works without me having to swap the wire harness (yet)

Luminics ftw ...

If you look at the power rating, the nokya is way too high compared to stock/recommended levels... If i remembr correctly, Luminics is only like 5w higher.

They also have the 55w version, the package looks different too. I have them on my car and the 06 Tundra. 70w seems too high so I got the 55w ones which is what the output its rated for I think?

The "new" packaging Nokya yellows says 70W outside, but he engraving on the bulbs itself are rated at only 55W. This should be safe since it's OEM rated.

What does the engraving on your bulb say 55w or 70w because my bulb has 55w engraved, thanks for the warning.

so 55W is fine? If so, mine should be OK... I will double check anyway.

Yes, if the bulb is engraved with 55W rating you'll be fine since that's OEM wattage.

I use these for over a year and they are okay, but I use them for my high beams though, so most of the time they are just on half power as DRL.
