for the passenger side my hands can remove the dust cap and put it back on without removing anything, i tried this the other day

but for the driver side, the windshield fluid tube is in the way

i've tried looking for a DIY on this but i don't think there's one
from what i heard tho, since DRLs are in the same compartment as the parking lights, people had to remove some parts in order to change out the parking lights so i assume the same for DRLs

lol same here bro!

i'm really not a handy type of guy.. and i don't even have the wrench and bolt to remove the parts so i'm probably gonna buy them instead of always borrowing off a friend (since i'll probably be doing more mods in the future )

but i think this is a good start for us if we've never removed parts from the hood before
replacing DRLs and parking lights are probably the easiest of the mods that involve popping the trunk (other than adjusting headlight aim?)

i'm afraid of removing the air filter box tho.. so i'm hoping i really don't have to remove anything from the passenger side! and hopefully the windshield fluid tube is easily out of the way~

yea i know what u mean bro. I bought the Hella Horns and they came last week and i still haven't had the guts to go out and install them. Not much of a handy guy either. Im afraid of breaking something or putting something back in the wrong place.

I took Auto tech in high school for 1 year but all we did was learn how to use the jack and the lift and changing tires LMAO wish i had took it for a few years more

lol you're better than me bro! i don't even know how to change tires
probably one of these days i'll get to it.. probably cause i never had the mod bug before
now that i have it it'll motivate me to slowly take my car apart.... maybe

but hey!
here's sort of a DIY for removing the windshield fluid tube!
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-pictures.html

you can see from the first pic, the windshield fluid tube is right in the way of the dust cap on the driver's side
whereas the air intake box still gives a bit of room to take the dust cap off of the passenger side

and hopefully your bulbs come tomorrow so we can confirm if they are indeed 55W!

here's my decision, if they're 55W, i'll get the same bulbs as yours
if they're 65W, i'll get the kypton series since that's 65W anyways!

Damn what a morning. So I was in my room and I heard a car pull up outside. Looked out and it was the post man. I was excited lol knowing that my bulbss were here. Saw he had two packages, he proceeded to walk to my step and threw the small package at my door and walked up my neighbors steps.

At this pony my face turned green and I became the Hulk. I was soooooooo pissed off. I knew my bulbs broke. I came outside picked up the box and examined it. Then I saw the post man walk down the steps and I yelled at him and told him that I saw him chuck the box at my door and told him that if my bulbs are broken that he could say bye bye to his job.

Went inside and opened the box and saw that the bulbs were fine but one of the bulbs were dislocated itself from the clip. I took a trip down to the post office and spoke to the postmaster and explained what had happened. He told me the box wasnt insured and they couldn't do anything about it. He told be that if the bulbs don't work that I can call the manufacturere and tell then bulbs don't work and they will send me replacements.

We will find out when I install them
